Barangay Captain Sadernas of Pundakit, San Antonio, Zambales declares that five fishermen are allegedly missing since January 26, when they left for Capones Island, also located in Pundakit.

The fishermen are reported to have embarked at 5 pm on the said date.

Philippine Red Cross Disaster Response Team, headed by Mr. Albert Romanban, are preparing for deployment in the area for assessment and possible Search and Rescue Operation.

A rubber boat, life jackets, first aid kits, ring buoys and rescue ropes are among the rescue equipments are to be utilized.

The Philippine Red Cross National Headquarters are also trying to solicit assistance from the Olongapo Chapter Water Search and Rescue team.

The missing fishermen are identified as Hilario V. Mendoza, Ronaldo Talastas, Artemio Monares Jr., Santiago Dulohan and Jerome Dulohan.
