19 – 21 November 2007
Guidelines on Accommodation and Transportation
A. Accommodation
- Accommodation (with breakfast) of all teams (consisting of two oralists and a coach ) from outside of Metro Manila shall be paid for by the organizers from the afternoon of 18 November 2007 to the afternoon of 21 November 2007,
- Sponsors will be tapped to cover lunch, snacks and dinner in the duration of the Competition. Everyone, including teams from Metro Manila is urged to join the Welcome and Solidarity Dinners which will be opportunities to interact with other teams.
- Teams that opted to have an alternate are expected to shoulder the costs of participation of the same. The Organizing Committee, however, may be requested to make arrangements for the accommodations and food of the fourth member.
- Teams will be billeted in a hotel on a twin-sharing basis. We will endeavor to make arrangements that members of the same team would share the same room (i.e., they would be roommates). However, due to constraints in availability of rooms and the budget, please be informed that it may be possible that a member of one Team may be constrained to share a room with a member of another Team.
- The Organizing Committee shall not be responsible for the accommodation and meals of other support staff that teams might include in their delegation.
Pursuant to this, may we know whether you would wish the Committee to make arrangements for the accommodations of your fourth member (alternate/researcher). Kindly inform us not later than 19 October 2007 as we need to finalize arrangements with the hotel and catering service.
B, Transportation
- Only plane and bus fares will be covered by the Organizing Committee. Other minor transport (e.g. taxi, jeep etc) expenses will be the counterpart of the participating teams including transportation costs to and from the airport. All other incidental transportation costs shall be borne by the participants.
