Appeal for Typhoon Frank and MV Princess of the Star Victims

Typhoon Frank has brought untold suffering and devastation to millions of Filipinos nationwide. Its onslaught has destroyed the lives and properties of citizens from 32 affected provinces. Among the provinces hit are Iloilo and Aklan.

The Philippine National Red Cross has already dispatched its personnel and has contributed funds to support preliminary food relief and emergency water supply. However, due to the sheer volume of the damage brought about by Typhoon Frank, we need support from the private sector to address this dilemma.

We are looking at providing the affected families with potable water, medicines to prevent the spread of diseases and transitional housing for those who have lost their homes.

We cannot do this alone, we need your support.

Your cash donations would be of great help to enable us provide for their needs, the most urgent of which are the following:

Food items: Rice, noodles, canned goods, sugar, iodized salt, cooking oil, monggo beans and potable water

Medicines: Paracetamol, antibiotics, analgesic, oral rehydration salts, multivitamins, and

medications to treat diarrheal diseases

Non-food items: Bath soaps, face towels, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, plastic

mats, blankets, mosquito nets, jerry cans, water containers, water purification tablets,

plastic sheetings, and laundry soap.
