Red Cross emergency responders help out passengers of Florida bus accident

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Emergency Response Unit responded to the bus accident in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya that happened Friday morning, February 3.

PRC Nueva Vizcaya chapter staff and volunteers along with the  Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) swiftly responded to the scene wherein  26 passengers were injured and one has been transported to Luis Medical Center.

According to reports, due to over speeding, the Florida bus going to Tuguegarao fell into a ravine that caused the accident.

In response, PRC dispatched assessment, ambulance and welfare teams to help and assist the passengers of the accident.

To ensure road safety, PRC is encouraging the public to stay safe and drive safely to avoid any untoward incidents.
